The mine was closed sometime around 2004 after the town of Borsec proved that the dynamite was having negative effects on the waters and land of the town. In all four springs disappeared due to this mine.

Travertine Mine
Yesterday Kristina and I went for a walk and explored an abandoned marble mine.
